Due to factors beyound our control, The Mongrels will not be playing in Green Bay or Milwaukee this Paddy's weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Mongrels play Showcase @ Radio City this Thursday night (Nov 9th). Doors open at 8pm and the tickets are €10.00. If successful, we will be selected to fly to Milwaulkee and play at the St. Patricks Day Festival. The other acts on the night are Ross Breen, ReClaim, Red Kid, and Ian Tighe. The whole night is being recorded and being made into a DVD so it’s sure to be a great night.
The Primal Jelly Social Club had their first Music/ Art Fusion on the 27th of September. It was a raging success. This was a free Art expo for all involved with champagne and food served to the featured artists and their guests while the music trail blazed as normal.
We now have plans to do another night but on a bigger scale. So get your brushes cleaned, canvases ready and getting working because if your an artist, places to display your work are in demand.
The Primal Jelly Social Club is in the process of recording some of the acts that have come through their doors over the last 4 months. We are proud to announce that the quality of songs that were captured in these guerrilla recording sessions is exceptional and this is sure to be a whopping demonstration of what the night, and musicians involved are capable of.
The launch of the CD promises to be a spectacle, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground for more info.
The Mongrels' latest venture, The Primal Jelly Social Club has started to gain serious momentum as its aim is to give Bands and singer/songwriters the opportunity to kick out the jams absolutely free of charge.
